Is TrustedX capable of supporting "any" X.509 certificate value and handle its semantic information?

TrustedX enables the extraction and processing of all data from certificates, OCSP/CRL responses, time stamps or PDF documents in a flexible, configurable and dynamic manner through XSL transformations (style templates), offering highly advanced features in comparison with the basic and static parsing capacity offered by traditional tools.

The flexibility of this system enables the provision of information required for the business process, including the data not contained in certificates (for example, in LDAP or external databases), in a uniform way, regardless of the type of certificate. This feature drastically simplifies the applications’ complexity, abstracting them from any peculiarity that is usually present in the various certification service providers. On the other hand, the use of TrustedX style templates is associated to its policy engine, so the information that TrustedX provides to business processes and the way in which it is supplied will depend on the policy applied to each application.

The use of TrustedX style templates allows the dynamic integration of any CA in the system without having to install a patch or change the software version as occurs in most of the other solutions where the parsing logic is static.
