Is TrustedX a Single Access Control (SSO) system?

TrustedX is an identity provider as defined in OASIS’s SAML. TrustedX generates SAML v1.1 (Security Assertion Markup Language) assertions, containing identity and attribute declarations, on which the applications’ access control decisions are based. SAML v1.1 implementation enables interoperation with the most popular identity management systems: Microsoft CardSpace, Eclipse Higgins and assertions generated by other SAML v1.1 systems, like Liberty.

TrustedX provides the capacity to manage authentication and access control, enabling the implementation of a standard interoperable solution that offers web single access control (web SSO). One of the features of TrustedX is that the corporate provisioning systems are added to its own identity management system, obtaining information from sources such as LDAP or databases, thus allowing the user information maintenance functions to be delegated in systems that have already been established.
