What authentication mechanisms does TrustedX support?

At SOAP messaging level, TrustedX supports the WS-Security authentication mechanisms. These mechanisms can be based on PKI, digital certificates and X.509 security tokens and the user number based on SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language). At transport level, TrustedX supports the mechanisms based on PKI (SSL/TLS certificateRequest) and user name (HTTP or SSL/TLS basic auth).

TrustedX can delegate the authentication process to external systems, and it can be integrated in the corporate SSO unique access control system. In this case, authentication is delegated to an external agent, who is in charge of implementing the authentication mechanisms (for instance, kerberos, OTP or biometric) and delivering the credentials (authoritative authentication) to TrustedX.
