What web service protection mechanisms does TrustedX offer?

TrustedX supports SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) web services and REST (Representational State Transfer) style services, supporting the OASIS WS-* standards, to which it provides integrity, confidentiality and authentication mechanisms at SOAP message level, as specified by WS-Security. TrustedX also secures REST-style services based on XML (without SOAP) and the HTTP protocol, thanks to support from the XML-Dsig and XML-Enc standards.

In addition to using its services as client-server, TrustedX can also transparently protect corporate services using an integration gateway that is included in the system. One of the outstanding features of the TrustedX integration gateway is that it enables messages to be processed using an XML pipeline language, so it is possible to transform a REST-style service to SOAP and secure it by applying WS-Security or vice versa.
